Kayla grew up in the Bay Area but has also lived in Philadelphia and Denver--two diverse foodie cities. Her hospitality adventure started in a French brasserie on Rittenhouse Square which lit a flaming passion for indulgent food and wine. From then on, Kayla has expanded her knowledge and palate through her degree in Sustainable Hospitality Management from CSU Monterey Bay. She is conscientious about the effects of wining and dining on the environment. Kayla hopes to make an impact on plastic waste and reversing ocean pollution in her lifetime. Kayla's favorite position (other than Wine Ambassador for Telaya!) was Special Event Manager for Rolex at Pebble Beach for the Concours d'Elegance, US Open, and Pro-Am. She moved to Boise in January 2021 with her sassy daughter, Ella, and a week later met with Earl and Carrie to join the Telaya family. In her free time, Kayla will most likely be in the kitchen trying out a new dairy-free recipe and wine pairing.
