Wine ambassador

​Richard grew up in Meridian, Idaho and became interested in wine in college when he worked closely with his aunt and uncle who own a wine distributorship. Finding himself unsuited for traditional academia along with a growing interest in the world of wine, he left college and soon completed the Introductory Sommelier Course.
Richard got married in July of 2021 and honeymooned in Napa, California. After visiting several tasting rooms, he confided with his wife that when he grew up, he wanted to work at a winery where he could help others explore and enjoy the beverage he had come to love over the recent years.

Excited and honored to be part of the Telaya team, Richard looks forward to deepening his knowledge and appreciation of wine.
