2017 chardonnay

A blend of Rhone and Bordeaux and now Burgundy varietals. This wine is a deeper version of its previous cousin with a hint of oak and a good deal of acid, this wine lingers on and has a long finish. Like any clash, this wine has a lot going on inside.

A golden straw flavors predicts the overtones of Oak throughout this wine. A big oak wine, tamed through the prudent use of French Oak, this wine provides a bit of sandalwood mixed with caramel that is met with a hint of grapefruit and lingers on the finish.

Not your super traditional grassy sauvignon blanc but rather a blend between the tropical and the grassy. This wine provides good depth in the palate with an interesting finish of tropical fruits layers on hints of meyer lemon.

A bright crisp dry Viognier that shows all the depth of Viognier. Dry, Minerally and a long lasting citrus finish. This is truly a red drinker’s white.
dry, mellow white with a strong finish of mineral, acid and tart citrus. This is a great food wine that still stands well by itself on the patio.

Carrie picked her favorite two barrels of new French oak to build that luscious yet strong chardonnay that she loves. The wine has good balance with the oak and the fruit allowing the citrus notes on the finish to find their ways through.

The perfect wine to enjoy on the deck after a long hot summer day. Pairs with Salmon, Shrimp, Cheese and Cantaloupe with Prosciutto.

Light gold in color this diverse wine starts with notes of honey crisp apples and changes over to butterscotch almost immediately. This wine is a little lighter with a very round mouthfeel and a lingering finish. It will pair well with Brie and Apples covered in Caramel.

Not your traditional Grenache Blanc. This one has minerality and a saltiness to it that is balanced through the Asian pear and lemon rind that comes across in the finish. This wine will go really well with oysters, grilled lobster or lemon chicken.

A blend of Rhone and Bordeaux varietals. This refreshing wine has hints of tropical fruits, kiwi and green pears that rolls into a minerally finish that is wildly different than the nose of the wine. It will pair well with pears and blue cheese and is an amazing summer wine.

A big, bold cabernet with an intense color and rich texture. The first whiff is of graphite and allspice. Hints of leather and cocoa blend into a silky texture filling the mouth and leading into a lingering finish of pepper wrapped in leather.

Deep, dark and brooding which allows this wine to continue to be our Rip Your Face Off cab. Red mountain cabernet uses special barrels to keep the tannins in check. This soft and silky wine with hints of coffee and cigar box mixed with anise and cinnamon allow a hedonistic black fruit to coat the glass. This wine will be good in the cellar for another 10+ years.

A giant among bold wines. This Merlot is like nothing you have ever seen. It has essence of driving down a dusty road in a cherry orchard. The eucalyptus blended with rich fruit of bing cherry give a very full-bodied wine. The tannins in the wine lead to anise and caramel tones in a finish that just wows.

Light purple, rose colored Syrah that has a slight tone of terpenes greet the drinker. The nose then rolls to spices and fruit of persimmon and currant. The body is full but not overbearing with coffee and the toasts of the barrels intermingling with spice and hints of caramel and toffee. The Syrah stays with you as the integrated tannins blend into a long finish that is delicious.

The smell of white peppercorn hits you just as you put your nose in the glass. This wine is intense in color for a Mourvedre. It has some of the similar notes of salami and pepper you would expect in a Syrah but surprises with bright cherry that moves into a more structured finish.

Turas is our flagship blend composed of predominately Syrah. This year it also has Malbec and Merlot. This wine is ruby in color with plum and candied cherries mixed in with anise and floral notes to provide an amazing blend. The finish is big and bold enough to withstand bigger flavors in food. The finish lingers for a long time before falling to a rounded mouthfeel.

Dirty garnet in color, this wine has a smooth mouthfeel with small doses of cinnamon and dark fruits, and a dustiness that is like walking through a tobacco barn. The tobacco leaf aromas add to the lingering finish that begs for another sip.

Outstanding- Great Northwest Wine

Smoked cedar on the nose, with dark chocolate-cherries dipped in blonde coffee rocking around the palate. The finish rolls on for a lingering smoky spice that hints of cigar box–an interesting balance of mellow and intense. Great for sipping on the river while the day passes by.

The color is rubies rubbed in earth. The nose brings big spices including cloves, anise, and pepper, then leads into a full-body wine that is pepper bacon jerky with hints of caramel and toffee on the edges. That sweetness is just enough to lighten the wine and intertwine the mouthfeel. Finish it off as the wine swirls around your mouth like a river eddy.

Golden in color with aromas of butterscotch and creamy caramel and mild hints of apple. The flavors bounce around from vanilla to apple and nectarine and back to carmel. The mouth feel follows the wine in being bold and balanced based on a restraint in the malolactic fermentation with a slightly tannic but long finish.

Floral notes with white peach and apricot flavors. This semi-dry Viognier has bright crisp flavors and a nice balance of acid and sugar. The stunning aromas give way to a mouth feel that is a bit creamy but with peach and citrus flavors still present. The finish is a little mineral in tone with a touch of oak but the amazing aromas of the fruit remain swirling about.
