Delivery Policy
By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to your selected destination. You must be 21 years or older to buy wine. By placing your order, you certify under penalty of perjury that you and the recipient are at least 21 years old. When the wine is delivered, the recipient will be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years old. The willful misrepresentation of your age or the age of the recipient is a crime in most states. Failure to produce age verification upon request forfeits the right to receive the shipment until identification is produced. In such circumstances, the order will be shipped back to us at your expense.
Due to the ever-changing nature of wine shipping laws, our current shipping states may fluctuate based on current permits. If you encounter troubles checking out and shipping to your state, please email us at info@telayawine.com for more information.
Shipping Costs-FedEx Ground is Telaya Wines’ carrier of choice. Ground shipping is provided by FedEx Ground at current market rates. We offer 2-Day Air at current market rates as well overnight orders, if you have questions, please email us at info@telayawine.com.
Wine is a delicate and perishable commodity. Wine does not like extremes of temperature: hot humid summer and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment. In the event of extreme temperatures, your shipment may be delayed to protect it from heat/cold damage. Telaya Wine Co. is not responsible for, and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment. When your wine order is picked up by the common carrier for delivery, responsibility for the wine becomes the responsibility of the purchaser. We are committed to your complete satisfaction. If you are ever unhappy with your order or somehow your wine shipment has become damaged, please call us at 208-557-9463. We ship on non-holiday weekdays only. Sorry, delivery on weekends is generally not available.
