why we give
At Telaya, we believe that it is very important to give back to the community that is supporting us. These charities have been carefully chosen by our team based on a strong connection with their mission and balancing the fact that we are a small business with limited resources.
As our team grows, diverse backgrounds and interests brings new charities and organizations that we are interested in supporting. There are so many wonderful organizations that do so much good in our community, but these are those organizations that have touched our hearts and we are happy to give back to year after year.

The mission of the Idaho Botanical Garden is to grow our community by connecting people, plants, and nature. They offer all kinds of educational opportunities, along with seasonal events and entertainment. Emily believes in the healing qualities of nature and appreciates that IBG gives our community access to such an expansive living museum.
![]() The Idaho Jazz Education Endowment is all about promoting and encouraging jazz education in Idaho. They do that by providing scholarships, promoting jazz concerts and festivals, providing volunteers for jazz festivals, and collaborating with and between jazz performers and artists in this great state.
Earl and Carrie consider winemaking to be a beautiful combination of both science and art. Though very different in expression, the art showcased by the amazingly talented performers of Opera Idaho is equally as fascinating. Telaya is proud to support the mission of Opera Idaho to foster the enjoyment of opera and related art forms through diverse educational and outreach programs.

![]() Camp Rainbow Gold is an oncology camp, sibling camp, and family camp. These camps bring children and families together with other's affected by cancer to share experiences like fishing, hiking, camp fires and laughter. Our team is honored to support this Idaho organization.
![]() Telaya is happy to partner with the Boise chapter of Water For People for one of their annual fundraising events. This group brings together professionals from different industries with the common goal of helping those in need from around the globe to build and maintain safe and reliable water systems. Jesse Tree of Idaho helps prevent homelessness and evictions in the Treasure Valley by providing a housing crisis line, emergency rental assistance, and supporting households through the eviction court process. Housing is a fundamental component to individual and community health, and the case workers at Jesse Tree provide an essential service for those most at risk in our community. Following the difficulties of 2020 for all, Jesse Tree reminds us all to lead life with compassion for our friends and neighbors.

![]() Every member of the Telaya team is an avid animal lover. It is a natural fit that we would proudly support the efforts of the Audrey Pet Foundation. The mission of the foundation is to provide assistance for veterinary emergency and/or specialty care for financially disadvantaged pet owners at WestVet Emergency and Specialty Hospital, also located in Garden City. Carrie used to work at WestVet and is very proud of their efforts to develop a formalized plan for financial assistance so that more animal lovers can receive the vital care that their pets need.”
The entire Telaya Team loves the Boise summer tradition of experiencing The Idaho Shakespeare festival! But what we truly support is the mission of the Festival to expose school-age children (especially those in rural and under-served communities) to the magic of Shakespeare and all of the theater arts. In addition, we commend The Helena project which brings Shakespeare actors once weekly to the school at St. Luke’s that serves children within the hospital. Not only does it help the participants learn about the theater, but more importantly, it allows them to play and just be kids.
